Surprise Proposal in Rome on the Pincian Hill with Lydia and Oliver

Ollie was absolutely certain Lydia would love the sunset view of Rome from the Pincio Terrazza Belvedere. Due to an overcast forecast, Ollie and I decided to push forward the proposal by an hour or so. It was a little touch and go whether the weather was going to be good enough. However we both made the right call because the light ended up being beautiful. Ollie and Lydia's proposal went just as planned, with plenty of light, joy and laughter. Lydia was over the moon, and there's nothing more rewarding for a documentary photographer than capturing the raw emotions generated by a surprise proposal. After the proposal we continue shooting and capturing happy moments till dark, and on the Spanish Steps we bid our goodbyes.
